Arts

The arts are an integral and valued part of a Mayfield education. Students experience collaboration and performance, develop skill and confidence, and consider style, theme and tone in the study of art and music. Students have many opportunities to build upon their unique potential in an environment of encouragement and possibility. The arts reveal the cultivated confidence and expression of our students.

Mayfield's Arts Program nurtures student creativity and confidence through activities, opportunities and resources that include:

Stage performances in every grade level
Eighth Grade Musical (experience as both cast and crew)
Workshop Productions (experience in writing, directing and costuming)
Student art exhibition in annual Art Show
Instrumental Classes (Strings)
Movement and Percussion (Lower School)
Choral and Instrumental Ensembles
Musical Concerts (Christmas and Spring)
Two art studios (one per division)
Pop/Rock Band
